Genesis of the Scientific Discourse and the Prospects of Mass Social Mobilization Study

Abstract

Scholarly discourse on mass social mobilization is analyzed with specific attention to crossdisciplinary integration of psychology, social psychology, political and historical science heritage with sociological one. The prospects of crossdisciplinary integration in the study of mass social mobilization is elaborated. Specific role of modern telecommunicational technologies, namely social media, in political mass mobilization (especially connected with dysfunctional collective action) is elaborated. The analysis of influencing of social media on forming of modern civil society from point of the indicated paradigms is carried out.
