Sociological Analysis of Development Trends of the State after the Revolution of Dignity (the Example of Zaporozhye Region)

Abstract

The change of government of 2013–2014 Ukraine has received a wide range of
interpretations in the scientific community and public opinion, from a military coup to Revolution dignity. Processes that took place during this period were influenced by the state of affairs in many spheres of public life and require in-depth sociological analysis. The article analyzes the implementation of the declared objectives of dignity revolution and the current state of affairs in the areas to which it was directed. The survey results show that most of these objectives have not been achieved, there is deterioration in the following areas: the level of freedom of expression, corruption, the level of openness in government, increasing the role of citizens in government.
