Life Strategies of the Individual in Terms of Social Change: a Sociological Analysis

Transitive nature of society, which is characterized by dynamics of institutional structure gives weight to the role of adaptive approach to the analysis of life strategies in the situation of social changes. The article reviews the main approaches to the study of individual life strategies and their structural elements. Attention is concentrated on the objective and subjective aspects of the process of developing life strategies and methodological features of the studies. Life strategy is a tool of planning the individual's own life, which consists of a preliminary design of way of life (choice of objectives, priorities) and its implementation (different social practices of the subject, aimed at implementation of the necessities of life and resolution of situations), life satisfaction (self-assessment).
